In 2002, at a Waterfowl Workshop organised and conducted by the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment and attended by some of the most prominent scientists, biologists and game management professionals, it was agreed that an Adaptive Harvest Management Model would be initiated.
We should always keep in the back of our minds, that Victorian wildlife bureaucrats want NOTHING to do with the science.
They know that once the science and data has been gathered, that they will not have the final say in regards to setting game seasons, bag limits or other necessary regulation.
